Senior market development and technology appointment also made in region
Camarillo, CA, November 6, 2017 – IP media processing pioneer Aperi is continuing its global expansion with the opening of an office in London that will serve the EMEA region. This is the second office that Aperi has outside of the US having recently set up in Melbourne, Australia.
The company has also appointed Cesare Camparada as senior market development and technology manager for EMEA. Cesare has 15 years’ experience working in the broadcast and media technology industry with previous technical sales and account management roles at an Italian systems integrator and at compression codec specialist V-Nova. His in-depth knowledge in these areas gives Cesare firsthand insight into the challenges the industry is facing today.
“The market’s adoption of IP and virtualized technology is moving at a very fast pace,” said Cesare of Aperi’s growing importance in the industry. I’m looking forward to being a part of the growing team as we work with leading broadcasters, telcos and content producers to help them undertake faster, more effective content production – all while reducing overall operating costs.”
Cesare joins the team to help the continued expansion of EMEA operations after a number of significant customer deployments. As leading operators continue to adopt native-IP technology and invest in SMPTE-2022 and -2110 architectures, he will help EMEA-based customers harmonize production and delivery workflows through Aperi’s virtualized media processing functionality.
Aperi’s IP-based solutions let users deploy remote, live-streaming and file-based virtualized production workflows in a cloud-centric environment. Its new EMEA office will allow Aperi to support local users as they transition away from hardware-dependent systems to completely software-based production networks.
Commenting on the appointment, Aperi’s ceo Joop Janssen said: “having Cesare in place to work with our customers and global solutions partners is an important step for Aperi’s continued growth. With his technical IP network and broadcast workflow expertise, he’ll be able to help them transition in a smooth and robust way to more agile, fully software and native IP-based media production and distribution infrastructures.”
